    Great Lowers

    I have bought 2 from RTB and one from another vendor. The Noreen is superior and at a superior price. The best part of the Noreen is the rear receiver take-down pin has its spring and detent drilled through the pistol grip area and is the exact same length as a standard AR15's. Other receivers I have owned or handled have these long drilled and tapped holes from the stock area. which are a PITA to deal with. I use a 1/4" HSS end mill on a popular discount mini-mill to do the rough in and then finish the cuts with a long 5/16" HSS end mill. (I have had excellent performance with HSS bits compared to the expense of solid carbide mills). Noreen's use of 7075-T6 also means it does not need to be hardcoated as 6061 alloys need. Builds include 6.5 Creedmore with 24" fluted and a 762 x51mm 12.5" pistol build. Both work flawlessly. RTB also has incredible customer service. Buy with confidence.
