This 16" M4 Profile barrel for 5.56/.223 with carbine length gas system is the perfect value barrel for that extra build or interchangeable upper. These barrels are MANUFACTURER OVERRUNS, meaning they are not traditionally sold to the public.  They feature a Black Nitride / Melonited type of nitrocarburized case hardening that aide in resistance to corrosion.

    Great buy.

    As another review said I thought I recognized who made these. Not sure if I'm wrong or not, but they are nice. I have grabbed 2 so far for friends builds. After running an old muzzle device down these a handful of times the tight threads are a non-issue. Quick bore sight and mbus sites and we're on the map at 100yds. I didn't fully sight in for grouping.

    M4 overruns

    Took a gamble and grabbed a handful of these. I figured they were made by another company I thought I recognized. Now I’m pretty sure they aren’t. Fit and finish is nice. Better than I expected. The threads are very tight as stated in the ad. I used grease and a wrench and no big deal. Has a match style crown which I found a little odd for a M4 rifle but hey I’ll take it. 5 stars based upon fit finish machine work etc. Based upon the quality I will assume it will group well. It even it it doesn’t….for the price, whatever.
