This black capsule version of the dust cover is constructed from high-density polymer which gives it more durability and functionality than traditional covers, and it's finished in sleek black for a clean look.     Great Optional Dust Cover

    I've used a number of these covers, and really like the double seal feature around the inside and outside lip of the ejection port. This Strike Industries part is a quality item that comes complete with everything already assembled and ready to snap in place. The number one attraction in my view is in not having impact marks on the outside of the cover, or the receiver. Secondly, no matter which of the patterns one chooses - it looks more finished than the original.

    Highly recommend.

    I like the idea of a poly dust cover, it doesn't break the bank, and it's ridiculously quick and easy to install. It looks great when closed and it has a superior seal. The only drawback I can think of is the lack of aesthetic appeal when it's open, compared to laser engraving.

    Strike Industries, Always perfect.

    I got mine today, it's perfect. Fits very well, easy to install and looks great. I like it so much that I just ordered one for all my AR's and a few spares for future builds. As for the one guy saying that he can't decide if his AR is now a real gun or a toy, get over it. Just goes to prove the old saying. You can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all the people all of the time. He's probably the kind that would find fault even if you paid him to take it. Some people just feel the need to complain about something. Well, I see no fault in the design or fit. As a matter of fact, I will be having the Caliber of each of my AR's laser engraved on my covers. I ordered some of the plain ones just for that reason. So, RTB or anyone else out there, if you decide to do that as a service to customers, just remember, I thought of it first and so I get a percentage. LOL. Great Ejection Port Covers. Keep up the great work SI. And great service RTB, always a pleasure.

    SI capsule dust cover

    Looks great. Easy to snap into place. No stupid little c clip to fight with. Took all of 5 seconds to install. Be advised, it did not work with my Aero upper untill I did some light file work on the polymer. Works perfectly now.
