I was searching for an adjustable gas block that would fit under a tight 1.3" inner diameter handguard. This got the job done and the quality of this piece is top shelf. Love the positive clicking detent letting you know exactly how many clicks from closed or open it is. I chose the clamp-on version rather than the setscrew type. I'm very happy, I bought several. You will not be disappointed.

Fits like a condom
Installed on my 10.5in pistol, due issues with gas to the face and accelerated parts wear before hand. (Gas rings dead at 900 rounds)
After install I found that 4 clicks from closed would lock the bolt back on empty mag so its set at 6. No more gas to the face and we will see how long the gas rings last this time. Unintentional perk=much less muzzle rise during rapid fire.
Fit and finish were as expected out of $110 gas block. (Excellent)
Lightly coated the inside diameter of the block and the mating surface on the barrel with blue loctite and after~100-150 rounds including two mag dumps no leaks.
Relative info on setup:
A2 birdcage. Carbine length gas system. Carbine spring and buffer that came with the KAK Blade setup. Brand new phosphate Toolcraft BCG. Tested on 193 and .223 and some 75gr sp Gold Dots.
Functioned flawlessly.

I've used several Sentry 7 set-screw blocks, and a few Sentry 6s, also set-screw. I ordered this Sentry 7 clamp-on, well, by mistake, thinking I was clicking into the set screw model (my fault entirely).
No matter! Installed on new 458 Socom build. Works excellently, just as all of my previous Sentry 7s. No issues with fitment or staying in place.
Running a KAK 16" 458 Socom barrel, with carbine gas, I wanted to ensure I could tune it properly for the lowest gas that would reliably lock back the bolt. Nicely, it cycled and locked the bolt back at only 4 open clicks, non-suppressed (SBR 350gr TMJ for testing). Waiting on Hybrid in suppressor jail to see how low it will go suppressed.
As with my other SLR blocks, it works great, super-easy adjustments with no need for set screws, etc. and they just work.
If you have a need/use for an adjustable unit (low-mass BCGs, overgassed, suppressor host, etc.) you'll be happy you tried the SLR's Sentry units.

Looks good and great performance. Much simpler adjustment than JP adjustable gas block. I now have one of these on a 6.8 rifle and will be adding one to 5.56 SBR - both for suppressed usage. 6.8 operates at 3 clicks from closed.

Outstanding product! Finish and construction were top notch. Bought this to replace a similar gas block from a different manufacturer that starts with a J. This one is a much cleaner design, easier to use and adjust and is exactly what I wanted for my build. I would buy again and will buy a few more for my other guns.
