    Good billet upper....with a few quirks.

    My purchasing experience from Right to Bear was excellent. The ordering process was simple and shipping was fast. I have owned a bunch of billet uppers and lowers over the years (Noveske/VLTOR, Mega, Northtech Defense, etc.) and I was expecting the same excellent quality with the Seekins upper as found in the other brands. The design of the Seekins SP-223 upper is excellent. I like the profile of the shell deflector and forward assist. The rest of the fitment is pretty good as well. However, I examined my upper a bit closer and you can still see some of the tooling marks in areas that should have been deburred a bit more. I wouldn't call them defects but they could definitely be a bit better. Regardless, this upper is being used in a shooter so I'm not worried about this minor issues. I would still buy the Seekins SP-223 upper again.
