Best of the Best for dedicated .22 LR ARs
I currently have bought three of these RTB/CMMG .22 LR dedicated BCG and am waiting for Black Friday to buy a forth. I built a 4.5" and 9" AR pistol and had a 20" custom barrel made on a GM blank, all using the RTB/CMMG dedicated .22 LR BCG, and none of them have ever missed a beat over several thousand rounds with at least a dozen different types of ammunition, from RN to HP to FN, never a hiccup. I also have a ban era, 1995, DPMS .22 LR dedicated upper that has never worked properly with the DPMS BCG and DPMS or Black Dog DPMS magazines, so after my first three builds with the RTB/CMMG BCG and all of them have worked flawlessly, I had the DPMS barrel cut for the RTB/CMMG extractor. I have now put 200 rounds though this barrel and it has never missed a beat, whereas before I could not get through one 10R magazine without some sort of malfunction. The RTB/CMMG .22 LR BCG is the only way to go if you want a perfectly operating .22 LR AR rifle or pistol. Combine this BCG with CMMG or Black Dog magazines and forget about malfunctions. The only problem with using their dedicated BCG and BD mags is that you will have to figure some other way to practice your malfunction clearance drills.

500 ROUNDS WITH NO STOVEPIPES OR MISFIRES. Shoots like a charm! A solid investment!

I just tried my Right To Bear Dedicated 22 LR Stainless Steel Bolt Group and all I can say is wow, it functions great. I teamed it up with the RTB 9" Barrel and tried 3 different brands of 22lr and all of them functioned perfectly.

Excellent RTB, just excellent
Picked up the RTB 9" barrel and this 22 BCG on sale. Visually looks like they might be CMMG made for RTB, but no confirmation of that.
Assembled it yesterday in an Aero Enhanced upper/rail and to the range this morning. Ran half a brick through it flawlessly. Yes, flawlessly. I was floored. Not even my M&P15-22 runs that well.
Have the Better-mag 15-22 mag adapter on backorder but had an old pair of Atchisson 22LR conversion mags (those skinny steel ones with the mag-insert upper portion) from an OLD AR15 22LR conversion kit. Test fitted them last night and they fed without issue (yay for that surprise). Ran both the 10rd and 30rd and could not have smiled more when those old mags ran with no problems (serendipity!)
Run without issue both unsuppressed and suppressed with my Axiom.
Most likely going to pick up another RTB 4.5" barrel and build out another upper on that barrel as well. Super pleased with how this RTB-branded 22 BCG ran. Nice.
