Other .22lr style AK’s in the past have been primarily made out of polymers and reduced-quality materials. The Pioneer Arms .22lr Trainer Style Sporter is made from the same materials of the standard 7.62×39 or 5.56Nato AK’s they typically manufacture, giving it that realistic feel you want while shooting, and helping those who are inexperienced with the AK platform to learn it without harsh recoil.
