This Complete 9 inch M-LOK upper receiver comes with a 7 inch free float handguard and is built with only the best Mil-Spec components. The heart of this upper is comprised of a 4150 barrel and the bolt is made of all stainless steel construction and we use an anti-jam dedicated 22 charging handle.

AMMO RECOMMENDATION: For in-house testing, we utilize CCI .22LR Mini-Mag 36 Grain Copper-Plated Hollow Point Varmint Ammo (1,260 FPS). We highly recommend this ammunition for use with all RTB .22 uppers. It is important to note that the use of underpowered or economy-grade ammunition may lead to less-than-optimal performance outcomes.

Uppers may present light fouling from our quality control process and/or test firing

Although .22lr AR builds do not utilize the functionality of a buffer or buffer spring, we still recommend using both to provide a stopping point/wall that prevents the 22 bolt carrier from moving rearward. Using a buffer and buffer spring will prevent light primer strikes. This is true for all Ciener/Atchisson 22 pattern platforms.

    I am well pleased with the accuracy and dependability. The magazine purchased from you (cmmg) doesn't work well at all. I purchased a Black Dog mag and the gun now operates flawlessly

    Great budget upper

    This is a great bargain for a 22lr upper that runs on a standard AR lower with cmmg mags. It runs all different velocities and brands of ammo, and I've only run it with a suppressor. Accuracy is good, but I don't shoot careful groups with 22lr. Shooting steel and cans at 100 yards is no problem, and bullet drop plus a red dot starts to affect my ability at 150 by a lot. It's finished and assembled well. All this is worth the price charged. Buy with confidence as it's supper fun and cheap to shoot.

    When I first received, I used 3 different CMMG magazines with 5 different brand shells and could not get more than 5 rounds through it before a failure, usually 2-3 rounds. Before blasting it in a review, I bought 2 Black Dog magazines as the product recommends. First try with those and shot through 150 rounds without a failure. Would shoot as fast as I could pull the trigger, about a 5 second 25 rnd dump. Fun Stuff!

    Top notch, this is my 2nd upper from RTB. Quality is always excellent for the price. Only minor "complaint" is that it was hastily assembled before shipping, the barrel nut was hand tight and came loose with the handguard after one test mag fired, while installing the KVP linear comp I purchased for it. Not a big deal, I should have gone over it all anyhow before shooting. Overall, happy with purchase. Just wish they wouldn't have dropped a new july 4 promo code 8 hours after ordering that brought price down another $25.

    22LR upper

    This upper mated perfectly to a PSA Multi lower. So far I've shot about 100 rounds of supersonic 22LR with no issues whatsoever. I highly recommend this product over buying a 22LR conversion setup. Price is great as well.

    I bought this 22 lr upper on a spur of the moment impulse. Mounted on a 'pistol' lower with a decent trigger the accuracy is quite good and function is satisfactory. Not intended to be a target gun but certainly no slouch.

    Great 22lr upper

    Great little upper, and a fun + cost effective way to get some trigger pulls in. Upper is well put together and is ready to be put on your complete lower. Most 22s are picky eaters but so far this has been flawless with Aguila 40gr super extra, CCI Standard, CCI minimags, Blazer. Only choked on Rem Golden Bullets, which none of my 22s like. Grab one for some cheap fun.

    Customer service was incredible. I was being an idiot and was having comparison paralysis and ended up needing 2 orders canceled. The customer service was quick and always understanding. I have ran the upper which needs a magwell adapter to let the 15-22 mags sit to not cause malfunctions but that is no fault of the upper. Would highly recommend this company.
