Machined from 4150 chrome-moly-vanadium, the Ballistic Advantage 17.7" Hanson barrel has a quench-polish-quench (QPQ) case hardening and a natural black finish. The 1.03" gas block seat accepts .750" low-profile gas blocks, so your choice of optics will fit no matter what. You can run a can because the Performance Series 5.56 Hanson mid-length barrel is threaded 1/2 x 28. Like all of the BA Performance Series barrels, this barrel features a FailZero nickel-boron-coated extended M4 feed-ramp extension.
