Machined from 7075 T6 aluminum, this lightweight upper receiver from Anderson Manufacturing features no forward assist, but it's still dust cover compatible! Made to mil-spec and compatible with multiple calibers, this upper receiver comes in Type III black hard coat anodized finish. Match it with one of our lower receivers for a perfect fit.

    Finally found one! I'm now complete.

    I've been searching for one of these Anderson slick side uppers for almost a year. Anytime I found them in stock, they were gone the same day. Then I found RTB and VOILA! Using it for a lightweight suppressed 300BLK budget build for a truck pistol. No forward assist or ejection port door is awesome. It will be mated to an Anderson lower. You just cannot beat the price, the finish is flawless. Uppers in this price range are usually blems. Couldn't be happier right now. This will be my 9th AR and my first Anderson. I've always heard great things about them and figured this was the time to give them a try instead of the multiple Spikes, Noveske, BCM, Aero, LMT ARs that I've built previously which are literally 2X + the price for essentially the same thing.

    Great Value

    I am purchasing my second Anderson stripped upper, the first one has worked flawlessly for about 3000 rounds, I am building a scond AR and could find no reason to not use this again. I am using the gun for range use and matches, not combat, I have never had to use a foreward assist and do not really use it in too adverse of conditions, so having no dust cover and foreward assit is no big deal.

    Anderson slick side upper

    A great receiver for the price, or for any price. Fit was excellent and there was zero play once mounted on my old Olympic lower. The barrel extension was a snug fit and I didn't have to shim it. Everything fit well as I would expect out of a Mil-Spec receiver. I am going to have to get a couple more of them.

    Nice lightweight upper

    I used this on an optics only upper for predator control. The finish is nice, the ads were smooth and clean, and it fit very well on the lower I’m using. Ymmv but there is no rattle at all between this upper and the lower I used for this build.

    As advertised

    My first slick side. In all my AR builds i have never had to use the forward assist so figured i would build one without. Anderson makes great parts. Using a lot of thier uppes and lower part kits.

    Why lug around a forward assist and a dust cover for hunting.

    Slick uppers

    I use the slick uppers on my Ar pistol builds. The forward assistant are pointless for pistol caliber builds, so the slicks are top notch for them. Love the look of them, also the reduced weight. I’ll order more on future builds. Thank y’all
