AO Precision Premium Mil-Spec Phosphate Bolt Carrier Group - 158 HPT/MPI BCG

These Military surplus 158 Bolt carrier groups are manufactured by AO Precision to the exacting standards of the US Military. AO makes these HPT / MPI BCG's for other Military contractor juggernauts, such as FN America. All bolts are rigorously inspected and are individually High Pressure Tested and then go through a Magnetic Particle Inspection.

Please note: These BCG's are considered premium because of the materials used and the Military Spec requirements that are adhered to during the manufacturing process. The HPT/metallurgy equipment and processes that these go through are very hard to find and very expensive. These are battle proven (literally), but they may not be as pretty as other BCG's out there.

    Great BCG

    I have used the AO Precision BCGs in several builds, roughly a dozen or so between my personal builds and assistanting family/ friends with their build. I have two of these BCGs with well over 3K rounds and my cousin has one with approximately 5K rounds that only recently needed the gas rings replaced. These are are top notch BCGs that you aren't likely to have any issues with in the foreseeable future. Additionally, not many BCGs in this price range are both mag particle inspected (MPI), and high pressure tested (HPT).

    This the best BCG you can buy for your AR. Yes there are many like it, but these are High Pressure Tested and Magnetic Particle Inspected. They are also 158 steel. They don’t have pretty logos, but that’s okay! I love these BCG’s and I run a few. Thanks RTB!

    AO Premium 158HPT/MPI BCG

    Haven’t got a chance to use it, but it arrived quickly to my door steps. Packaged nicely in a sealed plastic. No oil lube at all, everything dry. Chrome lining is on the thin side as compared to other premium BCG. Put it on a scale at 11.64 oz. Exactly the same weight as a Full Colt BCG. Gas key is staked perfectly, at least the way I would want it. Bolt are marked HPT/MPI. Can’t ask for anything more. You’re actually getting a lot for the money! Thank you RTB Arms!

    Fast shipping cleaned and oiled runs as it should. With steel case or Brass ammo I have 3 Phosphate and 1 Nitrite might be a couple $ more but we'll worth the money

    One of my top two

    AO is one of my top two BCG manufacturers, the other being Microbest. I try to get them as the "house" brands, since you get the quality for the lower price. The quality on this product is outstanding and thankfully has a C158 bolt. R2B is still one of the better and honest dealers that are still out there- I like to know what I'm getting, so thank you.

    For what you get, chrome lined carrier and gas key and C158 bolt all the features you come to expect from top name manufacturers. So far at 1500 plus rds I have had no issues and no unusual wear. Wish I would have ordered a few spares
